Holmer’s trailed RRL 200 eco sugar beet cleaner/loader is claimed to be the easiest and most cost-efficient solution for cleaning and loading sugar beet.
All operations are carried out by remote control which guarantees the safety for the driver. The rotating loading arm can swing through 125 degrees and has a reach of 9.5m. The maximum load height is 5.5m.
Loading with the RRL 200 eco is a single-operator process, and it can be pulled by the loading vehicle. The transfer capacity is approximately 200t/hr.
The RRL 200 eco features a 75hp Perkins 854F-E3TAN diesel engine that meets the Stage IV emissions standard. This provides a high transfer capacity at a low engine speed of only 1,200rpm – for efficient operation at the lowest fuel consumption.
The hopper capacity of the RRL 200 is nine cubic metres, and its walls are hydraulically foldable for transport. The scraper floor has a smart control control system using a metering flap to regulate the flow of beet onto the elevator. The forged scraper floor chain system has rails and link chains made of wear-resistant material. The RRL is also centrally lubricated to minimise wear and maintenance times.
The sugar beet is transported from the scraper floor to the finger roller-cleaning system via a cross belt and transfer belt to the haulage vehicle. This long transport path allows for optimum and gentle cleaning.
The arrangement of the cleaning elements over the chassis leaves plenty of space for removed soil under the RRL. The finger roller-cleaning system has a stone-separating roller with automatic reverse. The transfer belt is equipped with plastic carriers, two dirt-trap flaps in the return section and has abrasion-resistant polyamide inserts can be turned and reused three times.
The RRL 200 eco can be comfortably, safely and simply operated by radio remote control. The operating concept is intuitive and the operator doesn’t have to leave the cab of the feeding vehicle. The running speeds of all components in the cleaning section are continuously and independently adjustable via the remote control for the best cleaning result.
The front-mounted engine counterbalances the transfer arm, giving the RRL 200 eco an optimum weight distribution and making road transport at 40km/hr easier and safer. The external width of 3.0m means it can be pulled on roads without special permit.
Six LED headlights guarantee the best all-round visibility. The hydraulically foldable supporting legs and the remote-control adjustment options make the cleaner/loader easy to use in a very short time.
