Pöttinger UK has announced the appointment of two new dealers following the recent closure of its former Pöttinger dealer in Central Scotland.
Located just outside Forfar and close to the A90, the company has to welcomed AL Agri Ltd to the Pöttinger dealer network.
Andrew Mitchell & Liam Wylie are former work colleagues who took the decision to strike out on their own during 2016. Both are fully qualified technicians and they intend to offer an excellent level of service to the local farming community.

Pöttinger joins McCormick at AL Agri, and being a strong tillage area there’s already great interest in Pöttinger tillage products locally. Coupled to Andrew’s success in competitive ploughing (he’s the current World Conventional Ploughing Champion), the chances are good the dealership will soon enjoying great success with the franchise.
Meanwhile, J Low Agri Services Ltd operates from Kelty, Fife. Jimmy and Karen Low, along with their team, have built up an enviable reputation since starting out in 2002. Operating from premises just off the M90, J Low Agri Services is well positioned to reach customers over a large area across Fife, Perthshire and beyond. Having recently been awarded the Case IH franchise, it looks to be a busy and exciting time with the new franchises ahead for the firm.
Jimmy will be joined in handling sales of machinery by John Inglis, enabling them to effectively meet the expected level of interest that the two new franchises will generate.
“These two new appointments are key to supporting our existing Pöttinger customers in Central Scotland” comments Shaun Groom, General Manager at Pöttinger UK.
“Both of these new dealers have recently attended Pöttinger product training in Austria ensuring they are well positioned to answer the machinery demands of the local farming community”.
