Bomford Turner has revealed two new models to strengthen its grip on the UK’s remotely-controlled mower market.
The two new models consist of a compact 40hp model, and a much larger Supreme 70hp model. Both feature tracks that can be independently extended outwards by the operator by 250mm to widen the footprint of the machines to aid stability and grip. The mower can operate on inclines up to 55 degrees.
With powerful Perkins 40hp/70hp engine variants, twin-track grip, excellent manoeuvrability and flexible tool attachment options, these new Flailbots delivers robust all-terrain performance. Rubber and studded steel track choices offer the best traction for different surface conditions, while automatic track tensioning prevents track loss.
To maintain the optimum cutting height and angle, the cutting heads float over the terrain, adjusted automatically. A range of tools and accessories allow the Flailbots to be configured for a wide range of applications, including stump grinding, trench cutting, earthmoving and snow clearing.
The remote control makes the Flailbots ideal for use on hilly, banked and even mountainous areas. With a range of up to 150m, the remote ensures precise joystick control of forward or reverse track speeds from 0-7km/hr. The unit also displays real-time data, including machine incline, attitude and speed.
