Claas UK has appointed two new directors to its board. Brian Wain (pictured left) joins as customer service director, while Jeremy Wiggins (right) is now sales and marketing director. They replace Alastair Tulloch, following his recent retirement, and Jan-Hendrick Mohr, who has resigned from the board having been appointed to a new position within the Claas Group.
Brian Wain joined Claas UK as Tractor Technical Manager in 2004 following the acquisition of Renault Agriculture, where he served as an area service manager. In his new role at Claas UK, Brian was responsible for the successful introduction and development of the Claas tractor range within the Technical Service department.
In 2012, Brian was promoted to academy manager, responsible for overseeing the recent demographic changes within the division, including the recruitment of a new team to realise the future training provision needs of the Claas Academy.
In 2014, Brian was appointed customer service manager with responsibility to develop current and future customer programmes, to ensure that Claas UK maintains its industry-leading levels of customer service and support.
Brian brings to the Claas UK board a high level of technical product knowledge, combined with customer support skills and health and safety experience, that’ll be vital in developing the company’s strategic direction in these respects.
Jeremy Wiggins joined the Claas UK management trainee programme in 1996 following his graduation from Harper Adams. As part of his intensive training, Jeremy worked in various divisions within Claas UK, in addition to working at Harsewinkel in Germany and as part of the team introducing the Lexion in North America.
Jeremy was appointed product manager for Jaguar and Greenline forage harvest products in 1998, prior to being promoted to national sales manager in 2008. In 2012 he was appointed sales and marketing manager for the UK and Ireland, in which role he has overseen the development of a new product management team.
With his appointment to the board of Claas UK, Jeremy will bring experience of both product management and sales that’ll be invaluable when deciding on the direction of future product launches, pricing and overall product promotion.
