In response to market demand, Opico is reintroducing the Strautmann Giga Vitesse 3201. This more compact forage wagon will give better access and manoeuvrability in situations where space is restricted.
“The 3601 model of the Giga Vitesse is the best-selling forage wagon in Strautmann’s range,” Opico’s James Woolway said. “Contractors and large-scale farmers appreciate its size and capacity, and the CFS chopping rotor with its 45 knives which enable a consistent 35mm chop length.
“However, in the UK, some contractors have customers where space restrictions add challenges to efficiency in forage operations. Hence we’re relaunching the 3201 model that has the same features as the 3601, but is one section, 1m, shorter in length: 8.42m long, not 9.42m.”
The Giga Vitesse 3201 will be reintroduced to the UK for the 2017 season, after three years of absence. The price is £74,330 (correct at October 2016).
A two-year zero per cent finance scheme is available on all Strautmann forage wagons purchased before November. 30, 2016.
