The cutter bars on Pöttinger disc mowers are now available with new Tri Drive gear optimisation technology that offers smoother running and durability, as well as lower noise levels.
Developed and manufactured at Grieskirchen, in Austria, the mower discs are driven by gear wheels that are almost the same diameter (39/50). Three teeth are always in contact for better power transmission and softer starting characteristics.
A new surface on the Tri Drive gears ensures smoother running and a reduction in noise level. The gear wheels are hardened, machined and fitted with durable twin-race tapered bearings.
