Horsch has appointed Edwards & Farmer Ltd to increase its brand coverage in Shropshire and Herefordshire.
“Horsch has a great reputation and the specification of its cultivation and drill equipment is ideal for our customers,” the founding partner at Edwards & Farmer Ltd, Rupert Farmer, said. “In particular, Horsch’s expanding range of power harrow and drill combinations I’m sure will prove very popular.”

Started in 1989 by Rupert Farmer and Robin Edwards, the company initially focused purely on service and repair of agricultural equipment from its base in Shrewsbury. As the company’s reputation for good service grew, customers began asking Edwards & Farmer to supply machinery as well as service it.
“We don’t want to be a supermarket of brands, but instead work with select manufacturers that fit well together,” Mr Farmer added. “Our Valtra tractor portfolio now extends up to 260hp with the T4 Series, which is ideal for our customers who’re predominantly looking at tillage machinery in the 3m to 6m range.”
Horsch’s 3m Express 3 KR and 6m Pronto 6 KR power harrow drill combinations will be soon be joined by more models of intermediate widths.
“It’s strong market in this part of the world and customers will be drawn to Horsch’s performance and quality,” Mr Farmer said. “When combined with its range of cultivators and drills, we’ll have a very strong line-up for our customers.”
