New Kuhn dealer for central and southern Lancashire

Malpas Tractors has been appointed as Kuhn Farm Machinery’s new main dealer for central and southern Lancashire.

Malpas Tractors, based at Wrexham in north-east Wales, has been an established Kuhn dealer since 1988, with strong sales across the machinery manufacturer’s entire product range. With two additional depots at Holmes Chapel in Cheshire and Denbigh in north Wales, the company supplies a full range of agricultural and horticultural machinery throughout north west England and north Wales.

The machinery dealer is currently developing a new depot at Appley Bridge, near junction 27 of the M6, with a remit to supply Kuhn machinery throughout central and southern Lancashire.

“We’re pleased to announce that our new Lancashire dealership will be open in mid to late September,” Malpas Tractors’ managing director Paul Reeves said. “The new depot will give us an opportunity to work closely with the county’s dairy, livestock and arable farmers and to develop Kuhn sales throughout the region.”

Kuhn Farm Machinery’s UK sales manager, Duncan McLeish, added that Malpas Tractors had built an impressive reputation within the agricultural machinery sector for providing a first class sales and aftersales service.

“As an established Kuhn dealer it’s well placed to expand that reputation into the new sales territory and we look forward to extending our association with the company in the southern half of Lancashire.”
