German loader manufacturer Schäffer has announced new UK distribution with direct sales and support for the first time.
The sales manager for the UK is Paul Gower (pictured) who has substantial experience in the marketing of farm machinery, most recently with one of the brand’s main competitor.
Schäffer manufactures an extensive range of robust loaders, the most popular in the UK being their larger pivot-steered telescopic wheel loaders, widely used in livestock farming, AD plants and other yard handling applications. New products will be introduced at the end of 2015.
Mr Gower will be working with established dealers throughout the UK.
“We have an excellent dealer network,” he said, “our objective is to improve the service to them by providing support on the ground and direct links to the factory and product development.”
Schäffer will be exhibiting at the Royal Highland Show at Edinburgh (June 18-21) and the Livestock Show at Birmingham’s NEC (July 8-9).
