Pöttinger’s Faro loader wagons first introduced the company’s rotor technology featured on large loader wagons to the medium-sized loader wagon segment. Now farmers can choose between the classic Faro 3510L/D, 4010L, 4510L/D, 5010L and 8010L loader wagons with volumes from 23 up to 46 cubic metres and the Faro 4010L/D Combiline multi-purpose models. They all feature many technical highlights from the engineers at Pöttinger.
Since its launch in 2004, the Faro has developed into a bestseller in its class. After 10 years and thousands of satisfied customers, the development objective for the new generation was quite clear: make something that is good, even better! The new generation Faros are masterpieces with eyecatching looks. These rotor loader wagons are suitable for tractors between 90 and 150hp.
The loading rotor has a diameter of 750mm and is fitted with 31 knives. With a chopping length of 45mm, the new Faro chops even shorter and offers higher performance as a result. The scraper floor is 150mm lower. This enables optimum unloading and clearance for tyres up to 710/35R22.5.
The proven six-row floating pick-up with cam track at both ends ensures perfect, sward-conserving ground tracking. Much improved contour tracking and resulting clean forage is achieved by the additional tracking roller, which is available as an option. This is located behind the middle of the pick-up.
The powerful and reliable Rotomatic Plus rotor delivers smooth, power-saving penetration of the crop and perfect transfer from the pick-up. The Easy Move swing-out knife bank was invented by Pöttinger to make servicing the knives as convenient and safe as possible. The rotor is driven by a high performance 1.5 simplex chain, which is protected to 1,600Nm.
The unique automatic loading system features a forage compression flap, which can be optimised to match the power of the tractor using pressure springs. A chassis designed for a payload up to 18t is available as an option.
The Combiline bodywork features high-strength, full-length panels without extension bars. The D wagon tailgate is implemented as a multifunctional rear flap. This models are equipped with a 15t chassis as standard. An 18t chassis with trailing steered axles is available as an option.
Roof ropes with extension bars and rear tarpaulin are available for optimum crop containment, for loading hay and straw, and as an option for increasing loader wagon capacity by up to three cubic metres. With the new slanted mudguards, there is no chance of any crop material getting caught. The advantages are clear: nothing is lost during transport and the road and loader wagon stay clean.
With the development of the new Faro generation, Pöttinger has yet again reinforced its reputation as the global leader in loader wagon technology, offering more than 55 models of loader wagon, each designed for specific customer needs.
