Although well proven in the UK and worldwide, sulphur fertiliser Brimstone 90 will make its first appearance at Cereals 2015 on the J&S Tech Services stand.
Its show debut is well timed as, according to the HGCA, sulphur deficiency is getting more and more widespread, with negative effects on yield, nitrogen utilisation and crop quality.
“Brimstone 90 is the state-of-the-art in sulphur fertilisers,” Simon Stell of JS Tech said. “Sulphate fertilisers leach out quickly, but Brimstone 90 releases continually usable sulphate throughout the crop cycle.
“It also builds up the sulphur in the soil for the following crop. Dust-free and with great spreading characteristics over a wide range of spreaders, it also disperses in the soil much more efficiently than its competitors, providing an even distribution of sulphate in the crop.”
JS Tech will also be showing, for the first time in the UK, a new range of innovative bio-stimulants. These include Bombardier, a novel humic based bio-stimulant that improves fertiliser utilisation; Mycogel, a unique patented mycorrhizae root enhancer in liquid form; and Rhyzo, a new type of root enhancing additive and bio-nutrient.
