McConnel has unveiled a new 5.0m reach model for its popular 45-series Power Arms.
Created for farmers, groundskeepers and local authority contractors, the new PA5045 upgrades the reach of the existing 4.7m PA4745, offering operators a greater cutting range.
Driven by high-performance 45hp hydraulics, the machine is light, manoeuvrable and easy to use. It’s equally adept at hedge-cutting and verge-mowing, is compatible with a range of cutting attachments,and offers the power and versatility to handle tough jobs.
Weighing in at just 633kg, the machine is compatible with smaller tractors weighing at least 2,500kg and with 50hp or more.

McConnel’s UK sales manager Jon Webb said the PA5045 was ideal for customers with smaller tractors who still wanted all the benefits of 5.0m reach and powerful hydraulics.
The machine is available now and costs from £14,000 with a 1.2m flailhead (correct at March 2015).
