Kverneland: Exacta spreaders updated for 2015

A host of new features are being introduced on the Kverneland Exacta spreader range for 2015 to further increase accuracy and efficiency. Spread widths up to 54m are now possible with the Exacta HL and TL GEOspread when equipped with high lift vanes.

It’s easy to check working widths and spreading potential using the very latest spreading charts available through www.kverneland.com, the AutosetApp on the IsoMatch Tellus terminal or via the App for smartphones.

The Autoset App connects the IsoMatch Tellus universal in-cab terminal with the spreader and automatically adjusts the spreader according to settings entered into the App by the operator.

After entering data into the terminal (working width, application rate, forward speed, distribution size and density of the fertiliser, and the selection of shape and product type), the operator is given setting advice for the product. This setting advice data can then be sent to the spreader, that automatically adjusts its settings to suit.

Additional changes include a hydraulic border spreading plate on all models, except the entry-level Exacta EL, to provide control of border spreading from the tractor cab. There’s also a new ExactLine border spreading system too, and this is now available for left- and right-hand spreading, making it possible to spread in a very small field using both ExactLine mechanisms simultaneously.

Mudguards now protect the spreader against dirt and water being thrown up from the tractor wheels, while a new parking frame makes it easy to store and transport the spreader using pallet forks. LED rear lights are also part of the standard specification on 2015 models.

Kverneland’s fertiliser spreaders are priced from £3,530 (correct at February 2015).
