JFC has launched its new 170-litre Milk Kart onto the UK market, once again showing its commitment to innovative solutions for the farmer.
The JFC Milk Karts come with various options including a mains-powered 230v motorised single-speed mixer eliminating the need to hand mix, and the capacity of 170 litres allows a full bag of milk replacer to be used and between 60 and 80 calves to be fed in one trip. The pumped dispenser is powered by a rechargeable battery that has the ability to empty the tank 10 times in one charge (with a recharge time of eight to 12 hours), the flow meter on the nozzle allows you to visually measure the amount of milk dispensed to each calf.
The Milk Kart has a twist-on lid that minimises spillages and contamination. The castor swivel wheels allow for smooth manoeuvrability, and the two-ply wheels make for easy movement on rough terrain. The rear wheels are fitted with brakes for safety.
With prices starting at £334+VAT for the basic model (correct at February 2015), this is a cost-effective option for transporting milk or milk replacer around the farm yard.
