Weaving Machinery has extended its range of Cateogry 2 three-point-linkage mounted tractor snowploughs to include the two SC straight-blade models in overall widths of 2.7m and 3.0m to clear paths of 2.4m and 2.55m at a 30-degree angle.
These newly introduced tractor attachments can quickly be fitted to either front or rear tractor linkages.
The reinforced steel snowplough blades can be angled hydraulically up to a maximum of 30 degrees to either side to optimise performance in drifting
conditions. Working height is controlled by manually adjustable, large-diameter solid rubber castors, while a thick rubber scraper edge protects the road surface
and also the blade on uneven surfaces.
The SC range of straight blade snowploughs supplements the PSV range of “V” ploughs successfully introduced by the company last year.
Complete with a two-year warranty, the 2.7m SC270 costs £3,090 and the 3.0m SC300 is £3,390 ex VAT and delivery (prices correct at November 2014).
