The Kverneland Group’s universal dual-screen terminal, IsoMatch Tellus, has become the first universal terminal in the world to gain Agricultural industry Electronics Federation (AEF) Isobus certification for task control and section control.
IsoMatch Tellus passed the certification test this month (November 2014) providing official confirmation of compatibility through the AEF database, where farmers and dealers can quickly and easily determine the successful integration achieved between universal terminals, tractors and implements.
Task control and section sontrol are key elements of precision farming. Both are available through IsoMatch GEOcontrol – an advanced software application that makes it possible to accurately drill, spray and spread without any overlap. And gaining AEF-Isobus certification to confirm the compatibility of the application through IsoMatch Tellus will be a huge benefit for farmers.
In addition to using the AEF database to build a compatibility list of manufacturers’ equipment, Isobus functionality will also be shown within the information page on a control terminal.
Using a blue outlined logo containing initials that describe the level of functionality, the logo gives quick confirmation of the level of compatibility available.
Further confirmation of compatibility is to be shown on an AEF-Isobus label affixed to the product. The label offers rapid identification of AEF-Isobus certified products, and comprises nine small squares arranged as one larger square, with six of the small squares marked with functionalities.
Kverneland Group is committed to providing its customers with easy farming solutions, and the development of many new products and applications for the IsoMatch product range are on-going.
