Micronutrient and speciality fertiliser specialist Tradecorp has launched an innovative app to help farmers to improve crop yields and quality by identifying nutrient efficiencies and providing best practise solutions quickly and efficiently in the field.
According to the managing director of Tradecorp Europe, Marc Andre, identifying nutrient deficiency in the field is notoriously difficult and the intention is to make this process for growers and agronomists much more mobile and simple, and to have access not just to the solutions, but also how to get the maximum efficiency out of the spray solutions such as the best tank mix and water recommendations – all in one place.

Nutrient Deficiencies – Advisers and farmers can easily access a wide range of crop deficiency photos that cover the main deficiencies for each crop type. Once the deficiency is identified, a solution can be easily accessed.
Tank mixes – In order to simplify the time and process for preparing the spray to its optimum activity, the app provides users with all the information needed for tank mixes, clearly outlining the spray order and compatibilities.
Water clinic tool – The water clinic tool available on the app is designed to optimise the quality of spray water by adjusting the mix for water pH and hardness; which can be done by simply calculating the correct dose of Spray Plus to add to the tank.
Product directory – The App will also allow users access the complete range of Tradecorp speciality fertilisers and micronutrients providing simple but concise information on individual crops, at each growth stage, a list of contents and any necessary warnings.
