The new Rakaerator straw harrow from McConnel has been designed to evenly distribute crop residue. It creates a fine tilth 20-50mm deep while retaining soil moisture below, leaving behind a perfect environment for weed seeds and volunteers to germinate.
The Rakaerator has a 7.4m working width and features hydraulic adjustment of tine angle on-the-fly. There are six rows of tines for narrow tine spacing, and heavy-duty 13mm tines are used for greater soil penetration
There’s also hydraulic folding for transport and a cushioned top-link for smooth transport at speed. Road lighting and marker boards fitted as standard.
