Kverneland: Cost-sensitive mower conditioner introduced

The Kverneland Taarup 3232MN rear-mounted mower-conditioner.

Customer requests for a lightweight, cost-sensitive mower conditioner with high-output potential have been met with the introduction of the rear-mounted Kverneland Taarup 3232MN.

Offering a 3.2m working width, the twin-bladed, eight-disc mower uses a nylon tine conditioner, helping to reduce overall machine weight when compared to steel-tined versions. Aggressive conditioning capability is maintained by offering two conditioner rotor speeds for the rigidly mounted tines.

To maintain compact transport dimensions, the 3232MN comes with a 125-degree vertical folding transport solution that keeps mower weight close to the tractor, improving on-road stability and manoeuvrability.

In addition, the mower conditioner features a non-stop safety break-away system and centre-mount suspension, to maintain in field performance and productivity. Said to require a tractor with a minimum of 85hp to operate, the eight-disc 3232MN is an ideal companion to the firm’s front-mounted 3632FN, creating a 6m combination for use with tractors of 150hp.
