County Antrim-based Blaney Agri has added an ATV Power Shredder for cutting and shredding rushes to its Quad-X offering.
The Power Shredder can make short work of weeds, bracken and can shred 5ft tall rushes that have been left to infest fields for years. Considerable investment has been made in the rotor design that rotates at a higher RPM than a tractor flail ensuring momentum and faster travel speed.
Wet weather conditions are no problem for these ATV machines that are equipped with flotation tyres and can tread where tractor-pulled machines can’t.
Features include: a cutting width of 1.3m; cutting height from 30-250mm; adjustable offset drawbar; special rush blades; and a Briggs & Stratton v-twin commercial engine rated at 16 or 18hp.
