Valtra: Extended A Series offering

Valtra has extended its A Series offering with the introduction of new smaller models. These agile three-cylinder tractors are ideal as general-purpose farm tractors, as well as for fruit farming and property maintenance.
The new models open the door for Valtra to increase sales in the market for small tractors: over half of all tractors sold in Europe are in the under-100hp class. The Valtra model line-up now extends from 50-400hp, allowing the Finnish manufacturer to serve its customers even more comprehensively than before.
The A Series model line-up now includes three new models available in either compact or orchard configuration. The compact models are 1.9-2.0m wide and are available with or without a cab, while the orchard tractors are just 1.6-1.7m wide and only come without a cab.
The smallest of the new models is the A53 at 50hp, while the A63 model has an intercooled turbo engine that produces 68hp and the A73 offers 75hp. All the tractors come with Valtra’s reliable 12-forward/12-reverse transmission with synchronised shuttle and creeper gear. The PTO has two speeds, and the linkage is operated mechanically.

The new, smaller Valtra A Series models are available in two- or four-wheel drive.

All the tractors are available as either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, and all feature hydraulic multi-disc brakes. There are two hydraulic blocks.
The open cab is fitted with a rollover bar and removable roof. The closed cab version is based on the traditional Valtra A Series cab and offers an ergonomic and optionally air-conditioned workspace that can be accessed easily from either side of the tractor.
