Turkish tractor manufacturer ArmaTrac appointed is first UK dealer at the 2013 Livestock Event.
Former McCormick dealer Eastfield Agricultural Services, based near Airdrie, Lanarkshire, will add the brand to its existing tractor hire, second-hand tractor sales and contracting operation.
Eastfield’s Robert Clarkson said he had looked at several new tractor franchises, but then he first saw ArmaTrac, at Agritechnica in Germany, he was very impressed.
“ArmaTrac tractors are simple and easy to maintain with few electronics, the driveline is well proven with Deutz and Perkins engines, ZF and Carraro transmissions, there is a good range that can do a bit of everything, and the back-up is excellent.”
The first ArmaTrac tractor was also sold at the event when a 504e model, powered by a Perkins three-cylinder 50hp engine, was delivered direct from the company’s stand to R&JA Bayley based near Swadlincote, Derbyshire.
It has also been announced that ArmaTrac’s 90, 100 and 110hp models sold into the UK market will feature Stage IIIB Deutz engines. The four-cylinder power units will feature on the four-wheel drive 904 1004 and 1104 Lux models where they’ll be matched with 16×16 ZF transmissions. For more information visit: www.armatrac.com.
