Kubota: Stage IIIB tractor uses EGR technology

Part of Kubota’s M Series, the M108S tractor will use exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) technology and a particulate feature to meet Stage IIIB emissions rules.
Powered by Kubota’s new
3.8-litre, 108hp common-rail V3800-CR-T engine, the M108S combines a 32×32 transmission with hydraulic shuttle, swing shift and dual speed for smooth and progressive directional changes, as well as on demand four-wheel-drive to ensure exceptional traction and efficient braking.
The engine itself has been designed to reduce fuel consumption, which together with its high power-to-weight ratio means it is very economical to run.  What’s more, with a 175-litre fuel tank, this tractor offers hour after hour of efficient working without the need to refuel.
The cab has been ergonomically designed to increase comfort and reduce operator fatigue. It’s spacious with a well-thought-out layout; controls are conveniently located, the dash is easy to read and the air suspension seat is extremely comfortable. Air-conditioning and a CD/radio come as standard.
Routine maintenance is designed to take the minimum of time and effort thanks to the slanted bonnet that opens fully allowing quick and easy access to the engine. The sliding louvreless-type A/C condenser and condenser net can also be removed easily for cleaning.

The M108S can be fitted with Kubota’s LA1403 loader. This offers a host of features including hydraulic self-levelling, third function hydraulic service, Euro eight quick hitch, single-lever quick coupler and shockless ride.
