The PipeFeeder, developed by Dutch company Hanskamp AgroTech, is a time- and money–saving innovation launched at EuroTier 2012 in Hanover.
This concentrate dosing system has a revolutionary design that speeds up milking by keeping cows calm in the parlour, yet lowers concentrate consumption. Feeding cows in the parlour keeps them keen to come in for milking, relax and let go of their milk, but too much costly concentrate is often dispensed.
Hanskamp AgroTech solves this problem with its PipeFeeder dosing system, which provides very small portions of pellets during milking with an accuracy rate of up to 25g. As a result animals remain calm and content in the parlour with less concentrates fed.
Easily installed with two fastening brackets, the PipeFeeder excels in precision, simplicity and durability. The robust stainless steel pipe contains the stock of concentrates with an ingenious dosing system built into the very bottom to minimise the noise of pellets falling onto metal. The built-in engine ensures the PipeFeeder is remarkably quiet.
The PipeFeeder dosing system can be linked to any type of feeder and controlled for individual stands or for each side of the milking parlour.
Suitable for existing dairy units with low roofs, PipeFeeder is also available fitted with Hanskamp’s popular DosPrint anti-spilling device.
