Spaldings has added the inclined Hypro VPTech nozzle in TwinCap assembly to its agricultural product range.
The VPTech assembly is made up with one VP flat fan nozzle (80 degrees or 110 degrees) and a blanked second nozzle outlet in a standard TwinCap. The flat fan nozzles supplied can be easily swapped to different sizes or types to make up alternative single- or twin-spray configuration as required.
“When used in alternating spray directions the VP nozzles produce the ideal spraying set up for autumn herbicides,” Spaldings’ agricultural sales director Roger Chase said. “When the spray is alternated backwards and forwards across the boom width, it produces fine to medium conventional spray quality that is ideal for small blackgrass and soil clods in pre-emergence applications.”
The variable pressure inclined nozzles produce a single spray at 30 degrees. The VPTech system is available in both 110 degrees and 80 degrees to accommodate all boom heights from 35cm to 75cm. At higher boom heights the 80-degree spray is more suitable as it suffers less drift than a 100-degree nozzle.
“There are a whole host of nozzle sizes available in the VPTech series,” Mr Chase added. “This provides our customers with the flexibility they need for effective spraying. The VPTech nozzles will also fit all sprayers, plus there’s also a version to fit Hardi nozzle holders.”
