McConnel has unveiled two new 60 Series Power arm hedge and verge cutters – the PA5360 and PA5860 – that are said to be the company’s most advanced mid-range machine yet.
Boasting a high-tech feature set, powerful hydraulics and advanced optional upgrades, the new 60-series machines are robust and reliable and offer either 5.3m or 5.8m reach and high-performance, 60hp, 100-lit/min hydraulics.
The new machines come with either three-point linkage or axle-mounting options, and now feature tapered seam-welded arms for extra strength. McConnel’s Variable Forward Reach (VFR) option for greater comfort and visibility is available on the PA5360.
As well as a choice of five different control systems – including McConnel’s advanced Revolution controls, the latest 60 Series machines also feature aredesigned hydraulic layout for better performance; easier access to the oil tank for maintenance and servicing; a redesigned main frame arrangement; a cushioned top link for added protection and comfort when in transport mode; fully bushed pivot points for extra durability; and sleek new-look colours signifying the machine’s next-generation status.
