McConnel’s new 45 Series Power Arm features a robust, lightweight design that’s suitable for both hedgecutting and grass maintenance.
Compatible with lower-horsepower tractors from just 50hp, it features a 45hp, 70 lit/min hydraulic circuit and has been designed for farmers, local government and amenity specialists.
The new series features just one model, the PA4745, that has a 4.7m reach and is mounted on the three-point linkage. Like all McConnel’s Power Arm range, the new machine comes with a choice of four different control systems; an advanced feature set including safety breakaway, and a lift and angle float kit; and a range of cutting attachments including flailheads, cutterbars, multisaws and a rotary head.
New on the 45 Series is a redesigned hydraulic layout and easier access to the oil tank, as well as a heavy-duty rear steel cover. There’s also a new tank-top oil filler for easier oil changes.
The machine also features a cushioned top link for added protection and comfort when in transport mode, while all the pivot points are fully bushed for extra durability. There are sleek, new-look colours signifying the machine’s next-generation status, and an optional mid-cut pack is available if required.
