Lely (UK) has taken on the distribution for TYM Tractors range in the UK and Ireland.
Established in 1960, the South Korean company Tong Yang Moolson (TYM) specialises in the design, manufacture and distribution of high-quality compact tractors. Headquartered in Seoul, TYM produces 10,000 tractors annually to meet demand from the USA, Australia and Europe.
Lely is offering the tractors through its turf division and the company is confident they will prove popular among UK and Ireland’s groundscare professionals. With tractors ranging from 23-100hp, customers can choose from basic models suited to general turf management, mid-duty models ideal for larger venues like golf clubs, or heavy-duty tractors up to 60hp that boast optional air-conditioned cabs with audio systems.
Lely’s managing director Graham Dale said TYM was a superb addition to the company’s already extensive offering.
“TYM products benefit from being very competitively placed in the market,” he added. “We look forward to working with TYM to develop the business together in the coming months and years.”
Lely has a comprehensive dealer and service centre network throughout the UK and Ireland and will now be looking to extend this specialist network to provide first-class service and support to new and existing customers of TYM products.
