Spaldings: Shakaerator points join wearing parts range

Spaldings has introduced an innovative new slip-on point to fit the McConnel Shakaerator.
The new point has been redesigned to be securely held by a roll pin, which allows for the point to be replaced without removing the shin. The roll pin innovation drastically reduces the downtime required for changing the points.
“After undertaking customer research it was clear that a more reliable point was needed to increase cost efficiencies,”
Spaldings’agricultural sales directors, Roger Chase, said. “This enhanced version of the McConnel Shakaerator point addresses the age old problem of the points falling off in the field with a single roll pin enhancement.
“It’s important to our customers that the wearing metal they choose is reliable and value for money,” he added. “Our in-house design specialists put the Shakaerator point through its paces to ensure it conformed to a checklist of quality standards to withstand the demanding agricultural environment.”
