John Deere: New H-Series loaders launched

John Deere’s all-new line-up of heavy-duty H Series front loaders are designed to match a wide horsepower range of new, current and older John Deere tractor models. The whole range features cast steel mounting frames, improved visibility and integrated components, while a new patented parking stand and mast pins allow fast, intuitive loader connection to and removal from the tractor.
There are five loader models covering the horsepower range from the four-cylinder 6R/6000 Series to the 8R/8000 Series tractors. Depending on the model, lift capacities range from 1,400-2,400kg and lift heights from 3.75-4.70m.
Depending on customer requirements, the H-Series loaders offer different levels of functionality, from a simple two-function loader control via standard SCVs to a high-end version with three independently operating functions controlled via electronic independent control valves (E-ICVs). The loaders are also available with different self-levelling options for a wide range of tasks: non self-levelling (NSL), mechanical self-levelling (MSL) and hydraulic self-levelling (HSL).
Two brand new loader features will be available for use on 6R and 7R Series tractors to help the operator perform repetitive tasks more accurately and consistently during long working days. The return to position (RTP) function standardises the movement of the loader boom and implement to pre-determined positions. For this, the tractor must be equipped with E-ICVs and an electrically operated joystick control, and the loader is equipped with two sensors to detect the loader height and attachment angle.
As an alternative to conventional mechanical or hydraulic self-levelling, an electronic self-levelling (ESL) option features electro-hydraulically actuated self-levelling of implements during the loading operation.
All boom pin connection points are made of cast steel for better alignment and reduced load stress. The oil lines are concealed within the loader boom for a cleaner look and better visibility for the operator.
Another benefit of the new H-Series loaders is the simple mounting system. A single-point hydraulic connection allows the loader to be quickly removed or reattached. A standard Euro carrier is used to give customers access to a wide range of compatible loader attachments.
