Sprayer manufacturer Tecnoma, which is part of the French Exel Group, has taken over responsibility for sales of its own range in the UK. Previously sold here by LandMec, a sales division of Land Machinery Ltd, of Ivybridge, Devon, the new arrangements took effect on October 1, 2011.
The UK sales manager for Tecnoma sprayers, John Davis, will continue in his current role but now works directly for the manufacturer. Service support and parts supply will continue to be provided by LandMec from its base at Ivybridge for the time being.
Tecnoma is renowned for embracing new technology and leading the market in developing new products whilst growing its sales of sprayers throughout its international markets. The UK is a key market for the company. This change in distribution will ensure both new and existing UK customers for Tecnoma products continuity in the supply of machines and all aspects of after sales service.
The managing director of Tecnoma, Bertrand Pignolet, thanked Landmec for building a successful foundation to the company’s business in the UK and said he was looking forward to the next stage of developing the UK market for existing and new products from the Tecnoma brand.
