Wyma, the New Zealand-based designer and manufacturer of post-harvest vegetable handling equipment has announced the appointment of Everett Bros Engineering Ltd as sole agent for its full range of products in the United Kingdom.
Wyma and Everett Bros have a long relationship having manufactured, distributed and installed numerous vegetable handling solutions together. Both companies share a passion for the agricultural and processing industries and are committed to providing their customers with innovative and reliable handling equipment backed up by ongoing service.
During the past 35 years, Everett Bros have acquired a specialised knowledge of the bulk vegetable handling industry. Combined with Wyma’s 25 years’ experience in the same industry internationally, growers and packers in the UK can rely on being provided with technical quality and a deep understanding of post-harvest handling.
The Wyma and Everett Bros partnership is said to have the capability to offer complete post-harvest solutions from the reception of dirty produce to the pack-house, to the packing of washed, sized and graded produce prior to delivery to retailers.
The in-feed, dry and wash lines are designed in a consultative way in order to deliver customised solutions that take into account the customer’s operating environment, crop specificities and business objectives.
