Massey Ferguson: 7600 Series tractors launched

Massey Ferguson has introduced four new high-power, lightweight and versatile tractors in its new 7600 Series. These new models combine well-proven, award-winning technology with the latest fuel-efficient engines along with additional operator comfort and control.
The MF 7600 Series can be specified with either the
semi-powershift Dyna-6 Eco gearbox or Dyna-VT continuously variable transmission. All are equipped with the latest Agco Sisu Power engines with Generation 2 Selective Catalytic Reduction. These provide maximum powers of 185-235hp, as well as Power Management boosts.
A completely redesigned cab for the MF 7600 increases visibility and provides more interior space with extra comfort. Users can choose from three specification levels, with new control options, to match their requirements. Externally the MF 7600 Series now follows the same stylish and practical family lines as the MF 8600.
“Massey Ferguson introduced the concept of the lightweight, strong-chassis high-power tractor to mainstream large-scale farmers and contractors,”
MF’s brand development manager and director of sales engineering, Campbell Scott, said. “The excellent power-to-weight ratios, long wheelbase and highly efficient engines, allied to the most up-to-date, useful technology and exceptional comfort provide an outstanding combination of advantages for customers looking for a high performance tractor of this size.”
Massey Ferguson pioneered the use of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems in agriculture, and now the new MF 7600 Series benefits from the very latest Generation 2 technology employed by Agco Sisu Power engines already proven to significantly reduce fuel consumption.
SCR is widely regarded as the most efficient and refined engineering answer to meet the new exhaust emission rules, and Massey Ferguson’s innovative lead is one that virtually every other major manufacturer is now following.
Already well proven on MF 8600 Series tractors, the Generation 2 SCR system employs an advanced diesel oxidation catalyser that includes the AdBlue dosing injector nozzle and fits neatly under the bonnet. From here the gases receive further treatment by SCR Catalysers and slip cats contained in the unique oval-shaped Cat chamber inside the side-mounted silencer.
This simple, yet elegant engineering solution minimises space required, providing exceptional efficiency without impeding visibility or adding large appendages to the exterior of the tractor.

The MF 7600 Series tractors feature Agco Sisu Power Stage 3b engines with SCR.

On Dyna-6 models Power Management now automatically boosts power by up to 25hp. This provides higher output for a range of applications when conditions allow, taking account of PTO operation, travel speed and load.
The MF 7600 Series can be equipped with either the well-proven Dyna-6 semi-powershift or the Dyna-VT continuously variable transmission.
Dyna-VT provides precise control of the forward speed, while minimising the engine rpm, which ensures the tractor always operates with optimum economy and efficiency. This is further enhanced by the Dynamic Tractor Management (Dyna-TM) system that automatically adjusts the engine speed according to load.
Dyna-6 ECO is a well-proven, rugged and refined transmission that offers completely clutchless operation via the left-hand Power Control or right-hand armrest levers. This provides a total of 24 speeds, with six powershift steps in four gears. The ECO feature allows the 40km/hr or 50km/hr top speed to be achieved at low revs, which also reduces engine noise and fuel consumption.
AutoDrive is standard on all models and is proven to increase workrates and cut fuel consumption. There are two modes that enable the operator to choose the most appropriate setting for the application and his own personal preference.
All new MF 7600 Series tractors benefit from a new cab structure that features a new curved front windscreen, increased visibility plus a new roof with two new lights on each corner.  Inside, a new slim dash and instrument panel improves forward visibility. This also moves with the steering wheel as it tilts and telescopes in an out to match driver’s requirements. The seat now also swivels further to provide more legroom and extra comfort when looking to the rear.
Comfort is enhanced by a choice of cab suspension. The mechanical version is a straightforward system that employs coil springs and dampers. For those looking for an even smoother ride is the hydraulic OptiRide Plus, on which operators can adjust the level of damping.
On the MF 7600 Series Massey Ferguson is introducing a range of new Command Control Arms and multi-function joysticks, with the level of functions they offer matching the model specifications.
A new Multipad joystick is standard on top specification tractors. This mounts at the front of the Command Control Armrest and has a thumb button shuttle control as well as operating a range of other functions. Also new is the option, on the top two models, of a Multi Function Joystick that includes forward/reverse shuttle and gearshift buttons, as well as providing hydraulic controls.
Massey Ferguson is offering the new MF 7600 Series in three versions, equipped with various specification levels to allow users to choose the technology they need to precisely match their specific circumstances.
The entry-level version is aimed at those for whom power is the priority, focusing on excellent cost-effective operation without too much complexity. Essential models are equipped with the Dyna-6 Eco transmission with a right-hand console-mounted T-Bar lever and mechanical spool valves.

The new MF 7622 offers a maximum of 240hp for PTO and tranport operations.

The likely choice for most mainstream European arable farmers, the Efficient version delivers the specification these users expect, plus a high level of comfort and ergonomic control. Users can choose either the Dyna-6 Eco or the Dyna-VT transmissions, operated via the new Command Control Arm with integral T-Bar lever. It comes with both mechanical and electronic spool valves and the option of the Multi Function joystick.
For serious users that look for and expect the best, most up to date technology and automation to help boost productivity and economy. Exclusive specification MF 7600 Series tractors come with the new Command Control Arm with Multipad lever and all electronic spool valves, while still having a choice of Dyna-6 Eco or Dyna-VT transmissions. Again the Multi Function joystick is an option that fits to the right of the Multipad lever.
The MF 7600 Series comes with a high level of automation as standard, starting with the Integrated Tractor Control System that provides electronic spool valve management and wheelslip control as well as many other automatic features. The leading Datatronic Control Centre Display is an Isobus compatible, comprehensive information monitoring and control system fitted as standard on top models and an option on others.
All MF 7600 Series tractors come ready to be fitted with the Agcommand telemetry system to track, monitor and control vehicles using GPS and a mobile telephone link to the internet.
AutoGuide offers integral full auto-steering capability. This can be supplied either as a factory-fit option or tractors can be equipped ready for retro-fitting.
