The new Lynx front traction ballast drive-in systems allow users to easily and quickly adjust front tractor weight to suit the load being carried on the three-point linkage.
Shedding or adding tractor weight in this way improves traction, while saving fuel when weight is not required.
Lynx’s new weights are manufactured from a smooth mineral composite that means they are less bulky than concrete and less costly than a comparable steel weights.
The main 800 or 1000kg base weight incorporates Category II linkage points as standard and a female tapered slot on its underside for add-on weights. Lowering the weight to the ground and undoing a manual security lock and then reversing out easily sheds these additional 400 or 600kg weights.
The quick-fit, self-aligning male tapered add-on weight can easily be re-connected when additional tractor ballast is required.
