French specialist machinery manufacturer Agronomic has appointed Everett Brothers, of Hockwold, Norfolk, as UK importer for its full range of machinery.
The Agronomic belt potato planter is expected to be a key product for the new importer. The machine is said to offer tangible benefits to UK potato growers, including all the savings associated with the ability to plant ungraded seed potatoes, plus the capability of planting three rows per bed.
Everett’s MD, Brian Everett, said when Agronomic approached the company to handle its products, it demonstrated a genuine willingness to tailor the machines to the needs of UK farmers.
“It was an opportunity we could not turn down,” he said.
“While our early efforts will be concentrating on the belt planter, the availability of excellent machinery such as the inter-row cultivators and front- and rear-mounted toppers extends our offering to potato, onion and carrot growers across the UK.”
