RGS Forfar Ltd has launched its new ScanStone front-mounted bed tiller.
Designed for growers with varied ground conditions, the new machine allows them to bed till in front of the stone and clod separator only on ground that requires tilling, cutting out the need for an additional tractor and man.
The machine is available with a choice of spike, C-blade or angle-blade configurations.
The quick-change spike and C-blade options allow the operator to change a blade in a matter of a few seconds using a special tool.
The machine can be used for the incorporation of chemicals into previously separated soil on the front of the planter tractor by means of a Horstine Farmery-type distribution hopper.
The new front-mounted bed tiller is also available with various deflector-hood options.
