French manufacturer Pichon is now offering a new range of muckspreaders created jointly with Dangreville. The two family-run companies have decided to combine their renowned know-how and have revealed their first fully-galvanised solid-manure spreader.
Pichon chooses to use a hot-dip galvanising process for its spreaders, as is already the case for its slurry tankers. Galvanising protects the steel over time and requires very little maintenance.
The partnership came about naturally, as both companies have always shared the same policy, focusing on the quality and robustness of their products. With the support of a company specialising in spreading equipment, and by implementing its skills and experience in machinery, Pichon wants to offer a complete and high-quality solution to specialist customers such as cattle, pig and poultry farmers, and agricultural contractors.
Dealers will now receive a complete offer of equipment for solid and liquid manure from Pichon.
The first model in the range, a fully galvanised muck spreader with a two-vertical-rotor spreading device, was launched at Agritechnica 2009. A wide range of other spreaders will follow this first single-axle model. They will be manufactured at the French Pichon plant at Guipavas and then at the company’s Polish plant later in 2010.
