Kuhn’s range of feed mixer-distributors has been completed with the launch of the new Euromix 1 Profile model. This new generation of mixer, with two vertical screws, has been developed to enable farmers with buildings that are difficult to access, to work with mixed rations.
The new machines offer volumes of 14 and 18 cubic metres and are appropriate for every type of building. The overall height of the machine is just 2.46m for the smaller of the two machines, which has an outside wheel width of 2.31m.
The Euromix 1 can be sed for cutting and mixing all types of fodder – silage, hay, straw, wrapped grass – in any bale format.
For a high-quality mixed ration, the Euromix’s mixing screw is designed with a double pitch on the last quarter of a turn, for better fodder mixing and a faster mix.
Kuhn’s T10 electronic weighing system is fitted as standard to the range, while the T75 with ration programming (80 rations possible, 20 components and 10 batches for unloading) is offered as an option.
The new machine’s narrow body geometry considerably reduces the power required, and a front transverse conveyor is used to unload to the right or left of the machine.
An optional hydraulic offset of 25cm for the main conveyor, or combined with a tiltable conveyor, allows the Euromix 1 Profile to unload into all types of troughs.
