Opico will launch its biggest mobile batch dryer yet – the new Magna 2910, with a 29t holding capacity and faster drying capability – at Grain UK 2009.
The Magna 2910 has a diameter of 3.99m, which is wider than other Magna models, and a working height of 7m with a standard gravity discharge, or approximately 6m when fitted with a horizontal discharge.
It is rated at 12t/hour when drying feed wheat, which is an extra 2t/hour faster than the existing 20t capacity Magna models with 3.2m diameters.
“The extra capacity of the Magna 2910 makes it ideal for larger farms,” Opico MD James Woolway said. “More grain can be loaded in one go and left to be dried, freeing up time for other harvest jobs.”
The Magna 2910 with PTO drive costs £58,593, while an automatic model will be available for 2010 at £69,900.
