The well-established Centreliner broadcaster, Roterra power harrow, Polymat pneumatic drill and Multidisc disc harrow from Dutch manufacturer Tulip have been added to the Teagle range of machinery. Manufactured by Peeters Agricultural Machinery, in the Netherlands, the machines will be sold by Teagle in England, Wales and Southern Scotland.
The Centerliner has a long history in the UK market place and is renowned for it’s simplicity and performance. The fully overlapping spread pattern combined with the twin rotor mechanism ensures that each piece of ground receives four deliveries of fertiliser. This quadruple overlap system gives an absolutely minimum risk of striping occurring. Capacities are from three to five bags and bout width is adjustable between 6-36m. This makes the machine suitable for virtually all tramline applications.
The rotor vanes are made from Hardox steel for durability and are staggered alternately at 45 degrees to ensure that the flow of granules from one rotor does not interact with the flow from the other rotor. The result is an even and unhindered flow of material away from the machine.
All of the standard and optional features that would be expected in a machine of this calibre are available.
The Roterra power harrow is another product from Tulip that is now available under the Teagle name. |
The Roterra power harrow is equally well established and renowned in the market place. The Roterra comes in working widths of 3-6m encompassing nine different models having power requirements from 50-275hp. There is the usual range of options including packer rolls, levelling boards and mechanical or hydraulic linkage systems for mounting drills onto the rear.
The Polymat pneumatic drill is available in 3 and 4m working widths and is an ideal partner for the Roterra. The Polymat was introduced into the UK market many years ago and continues to be one of the best air drills available.
The Multidisc is also an established product and comes in working widths of 2-6m. There are eight different widths in two model ranges. Tractor requirements are 60-230hp and there is a choice of crumbler or two sizes of packer rolls.
Teagle will hold essential parts for the Tulip range of products, many of which will also fit the same machines sold in earlier days under the Lely livery.
