The new Multifarmer 40.9CS, a large tractor with a telescopic boom, is claimed to be proof of Merlo’s supremacy in technological innovation.
It’s as strong as a carthorse, and it was designed to epitomise the concept of versatility in all handling and lifting operations, both indoor and in the open field.
It offers the same speed and power as a farm tractor, and additionally it is equipped with a telescopic boom which allows loads of up to 4,000kg to be handled at a height of up to 9.0m.
The Multifarmer 40.9CS is equipped with a 7,000kg rear three-point linkage, as well as with front and rear full-power mechanical PTOs.
This model comes as standard with the unique hydro-pneumatic CS cab suspension system .
The 140hp Multifarmer 40.9CS is likely to arrive in the UK in 2010.
