JCB unveiled a more powerful and productive Loadall telescopic handler at Sima 2009 that sets new standards in agricultural materials handling.
The new 526-56 Agri Plus offers: a 114hp JCB Dieselmax Tier 3 four-cylinder turbocharged engine; oil-pilot Single Lever Joystick boom/loader control; and four-speed powershift transmission.
This new model will sit along side the current 526-56 Agri, which is fitted with a 100hp JCB Dieselmax engine.
With both models featuring a 2,600kg lift capacity and a 5.6m lift height, the standard 526-56 Agri model is available with synchromesh or powershift 33km/hr and 40km/hr transmission options, while the new 526-56 Agri Plus model will be fitted with the 33km/hr Powershift transmission as standard with an option to upgrade to a 40km/hr version.
The existing 526-56 Agri is offered with a new oil-piloted single lever joystick as an option. This feature is fitted as standard on the 526-56 Agri Plus model and allows all the boom loader controls and the forward-neutral-reverse selector to be controlled from one lever.
The new joystick also allows the operator to keep a firm left hand on the steering wheel at all times, allowing for more productive machine operation.
