The Cam Pilot guidance system from Claas is now available on the the company’s Jaguar foragers.
The camera-based system is ideal for automatic steering in forage crops because it can be set up to follow swaths.
In fact, the system can be used for accurate guidance over rows, raised beds and tramlines for drilling, spreading spraying or other tasks.
The three-dimensional cameras can be used to pick up distinct rows of a crops to provide automatic steering where a GPS guidance system would be working blind.
