Lemken’s top-end sprayers are now available as Isobus-ready models. The feature is available on mounted Sirius models, the popular trailed EuroTrain model and the Albatros, which was recently introduced to the UK market with its high capacity, high specification and wider boom widths.
Isobus compatibility offers users a host of additional features and options, including automatic height and slope control on the boom, armrest-mounted joystick to control major sprayer functions, and GPS mapping and control possibilities.
Lemken is offering four terminal choices with its Isobus-ready sprayers:
Basic Terminal – for all implements functions; simple handling and monitoring of the machine and working data.
Basic Terminal Top – as above, with addition of colour display and USB interface for data transfer.
Comfort Terminal – as above with addition of large 10.4-inch screen and additional push buttons to speed up functions.
No Terminal – sprayer is used with the integrated Isobus terminal fitted by the tractor manufacturer.
All Terminals come with a 24-function ergonomic Multi Function Grip, allowing boom folding, sprayer steering and section switching from the armrest.
The integration of Isobus terminals opens up a whole new world of automatic and precision farming functions.
Simple additions include: slope compensation with mirroring, automatically adjusts the boom attitude on slopes and adjusts quickly at turns to a mirror setting at start of return bout; distance control lifts and lowers boom to a pre-set height at bout ends; tank stop automatically stops tank filling at a preset volume (only in conjunction with Tank Control); crop metre pendulum sensor to measure crop density; and accurate air speed measurement for protocol weighting.
A D-GPS addition is also available with Top and Comfort terminals, this enables: Trac-Leader for digital mapping and navigation; and Section Control automatic boom section switching.
