GMR Sprayers has continued its expansion into new areas of trailed sprayer innovation with the launch of the Eazi-Trac.
Shown for the first time at Lamma 2009, the all-new trailed sprayer was specially designed for system-type tractors, such as the Mercedes-Benz Unimog, Multidrive and JCB Fastrac.
Eazi-Trac features include:
– Modular chassis constructed to accept low-profile tanks of 3,400, 4,200 and 5,000 litres.
– The Gooseneck drawbar with hydraulic height adjustment maintains tank level irrespective of wheel size, and spreads the weight of the combination evenly across all three axles.
– With a steering axle on the sprayer and all-wheel-steer system tractors, the turning circle is just 6.5m on a 72-inch track and spray on/off dependent.
– The sprayer is fitted with a 50km/hr axle with air suspension, and twin-line ABS braking is fitted as standard for safe road use.
– Boom widths are available at 24, 28, 30,and 32m.
– A hydraulically driven 280 lit/min pump is fitted at the rear of the gooseneck drawbar for convenience of location and maintenance.
The Eazi-Trac is available with GM-R Sprayers’ variable-geometry Albatross boom, available at up to 32m. It allows each side to move up and down independently of the back frame to follow the contours of the field. This boom is also ready to accept well-proven Norac auto-boom levelling.
A new high-speed Hydro-Filler 35 chemical hopper of 35-litre capacity has been developed. It is wide enough to accept 20-litre cans to be cleaned with the Lechler rotary can wash. The remote venturi always empties the discharge pipe after use.
he capacity is there to increase output to order volume at short notice.
GM-R Sprayers continues to take its customers’ ideas and inspirations on board, and always talks through the practicalities of a project before the order is taken.
