Merlo UK has added a new 120hp engine option to certain models in its Turbofarmer line up.
The move to Stage III engines has given the company the opportunity to add the 120hp Deutz engine to the Turbofarmer P34.7 TOP and P34.10 TOP models. These 3,400kg lift capacity machines include fully proportional load-sensing and flow-sharing hydraulic control systems and are ideally suited to make the most of the additional horsepower.
The extra power is seen as particularly useful for sustained road travel and towing applications, while the load-sensing hydraulics will make the most of it for bucket work.
UK farmers now have the alternative of three Deutz engines in the top-selling fixed front axle 7m and 10m models – 100hp, 120hp or 140hp – depending on the model they chose.
