Deutz-Fahr has expanded the Agrotron TTV series with the introduction of the new 190 hp TTV630 – a move instigated by the company in response to demands by customers for more powerful TTV models.
Power is provided by the Deutz Tier 3, 2012 engine, a 24-valve diesel unit featuring an innovative and highly advanced Deutz Common Rail injection system that delivers up to 224hp and develops a maximum torque of 851Nm.
This engine also features an exclusive exhaust gas recirculation system with external cooler, which significantly reduces fuel consumption and harmful emissions and, as with other Deutz Tier 3 engines, it is able to run on biodiesel at blend ratios up to 100% (B100).
In the all important transmission department, the TTV unit provides the operator with an infinite number of speeds from 0-40km/hr, allowing precise speeds to be selected at exactly the right engine speed. The continuously variable transmission uses a combination of mechanical and hydraulic drives and its automatic, shift-on-the-go range change is managed by sophisticated electronics.
The transmission control system also allows the tractor to achieve its top road going speed during at a relatively low engine rpm, an arrangement that helps to reduce fuel consumption significantly.
The new TTV630 differs from other models in the TTV range in that it benefits from being equipped with a new hydraulic system: a load-sensing circuit with 160 lit/min pump serves up to six spool valves, permitting use of implements requiring a number of hydraulic services.
In terms of styling, the new tractor is fitted with a one-piece hood, which provides it with all the charisma and status expected of a top of the range, flagship tractor.
The new Agrotron TTV630 becomes the highest power model in the Agrotron TTV series, a series that also includes the TTV610 and TTV620 models.
