The Deutz-Fahr Agrofarm series has been completely updated and enriched, with a new higher power model, the Agrofarm 430, being added as well.
The introduction of the new model, which joins the Agrofarm 410 and 420, completes the Deutz-Fahr line up for the 85-110hp power band. It also brings a raft of new innovative specifications along with the new Deutz 2012 Tier 3, electronically managed four-cylinder engines.
There is also a new updated transmission for the Agrofarm 430, which is available in the basic version with 15×15 or 20×20 gear ratios with super-reducer and mechanical shuttle, and also in the GS version with 40×40 ratios equipped with Hi-Lo, Overspeed and hydraulic shuttle with Sense Clutch adjustment.
The new transmission enables the tractor to travel at speeds of up to 40km/hr while maintaining an engine speed of only 2,100rpm – a feature that offers significant advantages in terms of fuel savings, especially when the tractor is being used on transport duties.
The GS also benefits from a new braking system. Self-adjusting rear brakes employ a mechanical system to ensure brake pads and discs remain apart when not in use. This helps to reduce wear, prevent transmission oil overheating and increase the service life of the braking system. There is also a reduction in absorbed power and fuel consumption as a result.
Other innovations include the new Park Brake parking/emergency system which, through use of a mechanical/hydraulic system, is designed to apply a constant force on the rear disc brakes when the tractor is parked.
GS versions are also equipped with the Hard-Soft sensitivity adjustment for the hydraulic reversing shuttle. This control allows the operator to select and a degree of shuttle response in respect of his working needs – four different degrees of reactivity can be selected.
The entire Agrofarm range now benefits from an increased rear linkage lift capacity – the Agrofarm 410 is now rated at 4,300kg, Agrofarm 420 at 5,100kg and the Agrofarm 430 at 5,300kg.
Finally, for the operator, the Agrofarm range now features a new, four-pillar cab fitted with a generous amount of glass that provides first-class visibility and a superb working environment.
