The latest MX innovation from Chillton specifically for its T Series loaders is the MPE3, the first portable wireless electronic weighing system for tractor loaders.
With its wireless technology, the new MPE3 from MX marks a turning point in weighing systems and is designed for all farmers requiring to accurately manage stock feed and the movement of cereals, fertilisers, and so on.
The MPE3 display unit benefits being a wireless, pocket-sized, console which is light, ergonomic, accurate, and user friendly.
The MPE3 is portable thanks to its wireless technology. A load sensor in both the lift and lower hydraulic circuits measures the effort required to lift the load. This effort is translated into weight and displayed on the console. The small size of the console means it can be easily removed from the tractor for security.
The MPE3 screen is back-lit and can automatically calculate the total of successive bucket or grab loads. An audible warning signal sounds when loading reaches the preset limit. Weighing during bucket tipping is another feature should a part bucket load be required.
Light (240g) and compact (14.5 x 9cm), it can easily fit into the cab and slides into an overall or coat pocket. A large dial aids rapid selection of 11 channels (all available for stationary or dynamic operation). Versatile and economic, the MPE3 display can be used with additional tractor loader units without the need for re-calibration.
Operating via a radio link and with no holes to drill, wires to route or supports to position the MPE3 loader weighing system is the simplest and quickest system to install on the market today. A simple velcro fastener allows the console to be installed anywhere inside the tractor cab.
Initial calibration does not require the use of a specific weight or known mass as the system’s operating parameters can be set by simply using the weight of the bucket or grab.
The system costs £975.
