Engineers working on the Standen-Pearson range have been busy preparing 2009 models. The recently launched Megastar Gen-2 is the company’s new compact soil separator. It uses the same star bed as the successful previous model, but with added adjustability providing improved output.
Another major Megastar Gen-2 feature is the adoption of low-wear, toothed belt drives, while easy maintenance access is provided by large doors in the monocoque chassis.
Unistar is Standen-Pearson’s big performing soil separator, with large diameter aggressive stars and its unique under-web additional separation. The Unistar is very quickly adaptable for different bed specifications too. In Ireland, the Unistar has earned a nickname – the greyhound – because of its superior performance in the field.
The Unistar is, though, a serious business tool with many of the UK’s biggest growers becoming customers for this highly capable product, and warming to its prodigious output and excellent reliability.
